Yesterday we posted our first check-in special with MAD Treats, Inc. where if you check-in at 3 local Dairy Queen locations you’ll see either a Buy one Medium Blizzard, Get the Second Free or get $1.00 off any smoothie badge. Another announcement we made at the launch party is starting Monday February 22 TriOut iPhone users can take part in the Empire Eats Top 5 TriOut Check-in Contest.

The way the contest works is that you’ll earn 5 points for each check-in at any location, per day and you’ll get 3 points for each photo and 3 points for each review that you add to TriOut from the iPhone version. Also if you check-in at one of the participating Dairy Queen locations you’ll receive 10 extra points.

Scoring for the week starts Monday and goes through Sunday at midnight. On Monday, March 1 a the @TriOut twitter account will tweet the result and you can keep a track on the leaderboard at http://TriOutNC.com. The top five will receive a $25 gift certificate at one of the 5 Empire Eats Restaurants with the top ranked user picking their choice from the the list and so on.

The $25 gift certificate will be valid at one of the following locations:
Gravy
The duck & dumpling
Raleigh Times
The Pit
Sitti

Warning we’re going to keep an eye out on the leaderboard so no “check-in cheating” and as @LawPower says, “Don’t mess with the Law” or your points could be set to zero. You can read more about the TriOut points system here: New TriOut Points System

We would like to thank Empire Eats for their support. If you or your business are interested in similar contest we can be reached via email us contact@TriOutNC.com or voicemail at (919) 295-0824

Good luck!

  • What exactly is check-in cheating? How is it defined? I was at Crabtree today, and checked in to all the stores I was in. Do I need to buy something? Stay longer than five minutes?
